The purpose of total body photography is to capture and refer to a baseline of patient images useful for managing and tracking any potential changes over time. This technique is best used in conjunction with patient self-exams in order to have the best chance in noticing changes in skin health. When combined, this method promotes the early detection of melanoma and other skin cancers, especially in cases where dermoscopic features of the lesions may yet to be recognizable.

Once the images have been captured on the camera's memory card they are transferred to a thumb drive and then the memory card is formatted (erased).
If a thumb drive does not work for you we are able to send you the files if you wish via WeTransfer or Dropbox. Local files will be deleted once sent.
